The Gamma Zeta chapter “GZ” was chartered on April 6, 1963 at Indiana University Purdue University-In and globally through community service.

It is the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority to enhance the quality of life for women and their families in the U.S. Our goal is to achieve greater progress in the areas of education, healthcare, and leadership development. Our members, affiliates, staff and community partners work to create and support initiatives that align with our vision.

The Glamorhous Gamma Zeta chapter mourns the loss of our last living charter member, Soror Myrtle Bryant.

As one of the women who helped establish the foundation of Gamma Zeta, her legacy is forever woven into the history of our chapter.

We honor her life, her contributions, and the legacy she leaves behind. We are forever grateful for the path she helped create for the sorors who would follow.

May we continue to honor her by upholding the values of sisterhood, scholarship, and service while carrying Gamma Zeta forward.

Rest peacefully, Soror Myrtle Bryant. Your legacy will never be forgotten.

Until we meet again in Omega Rho. 💙💛

With love and remembrance,
The Glamorhous Gamma Zeta Chapter
