Forty years ago, Dr. Kincaid began his journey as a seminary student.

This week, a new group of students begins theirs.

As Dr. Kincaid reflects on what first brought him to seminary, we’re reminded that while the world around us changes, the questions that call us toward deeper learning, faithful leadership, and service continue to matter.

Every seminary journey begins somewhere—with a question, a calling, a curiosity, or a desire to make a difference.

**Motivation Monday 🌿**

“Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

A new week often arrives with a list of things demanding our attention—work to accomplish, people to care for, decisions to make, and places to be.

But before the doing, there is an invitation to simply **be**.

To be still.
To listen.
To make room for God’s presence.
To care for the soul that carries you through it all.

As you begin this week, remember: **rest is not separate from the work. Reflection is not wasted time. Caring for your soul prepares you to care well for others.**

May you find moments of stillness, renewal, and grace in the week ahead.

Christian Theological Seminary is proud to announce the **2026 Faith & Action Project Grant recipients**, awarding **$125,000 to seven organizations** working to address poverty and create pathways toward lasting stability across Central Indiana.

From creating opportunities for young people and strengthening housing stability to supporting mental well-being and building stronger families, this year’s grantees demonstrate what is possible when communities invest in solutions rooted in relationships, collaboration, and care.

As the Faith & Action Grants Program celebrates its **10th year**, we honor the organizations doing this important work and the people and communities at the heart of it.

Christian Theological Seminary’s **Faith & Action Project** has awarded **$125,000 in grants to seven Indianapolis-area organizations** working to expand opportunity, strengthen stability, promote healing, and improve the well-being of youth, individuals, and families across Central Indiana.

Congratulations to our **2026 Faith & Action Grant recipients**:
