With more than 16 years of teaching at UWLA, Professor Sam Ekizian has helped countless students strengthen their legal writing, critical thinking, and understanding of the law.

In addition to teaching Introduction to Legal Studies and Jurisprudence, Professor Ekizian is a partner with extensive litigation experience, representing clients in personal injury, business, probate, and appellate matters in both state and federal courts.

From the classroom to the courtroom, Professor Nancy Dao is dedicated to making a difference.

As an adjunct professor at UWLA, she teaches Professional Responsibility and Constitutional Law while practicing full-time as an immigration attorney focused on affirmative asylum cases. A proud UWLA School of Law alumna, Prof. Dao has also devoted countless hours to serving immigrant communities through volunteer work in Southern California and at the U.S.-Mexico border, all while helping shape the next generation of legal professionals.
