Did you know that Sir Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, was a Freemason? in 1901 he was Entered an Apprentice Mason in Studholme Lodge No. 1591 in London. It would take nearly a year for him to progress through all three degrees.

A lesser known fact about Bro. Churchill is that he was an accomplished bricklayer, making him the perfect candidate for an organization with its roots in operative masonry.
