IGH PD is seeking outgoing and reliable candidates for Police Cadet positions. Police Cadets work under the direction of the on-duty Police Sergeant and gain valuable experience utilizing a community-oriented policing philosophy. You’ll work with community members and sworn police personnel to identify public safety issues and resolve problems and concerns.

As a Police Cadet, you’ll:
Respond to animal control and complaints
Work with property and evidence techs
Provide traffic control and parking enforcement
Perform residential home checks, as directed
You’ll also to get to know the IGH PD and the many opportunities available to officers who join the department!

This position will work an average of 16 hours per week and does not require licensing as a peace officer. The hiring range is $23.59-$29.75 hourly.
