It's National College Decision Day!! Accept your offer by the end of today through your admissions profile in MyUI. Once you have accepted admission and paid your deposit, make sure to pick your Orientation dates. Can't wait to meet our new Hawkeyes!!

Applications are now open to become a 2026 On Iowa! Leader. This is your opportunity to welcome new students, build community, and shape the first impression of the University of Iowa for the incoming class.

Leaders receive a $350 scholarship and gain valuable leadership, communication, and teamwork experience that lasts well beyond orientation.

New Hawkeyes, your journey at the University of Iowa starts now!

Key milestones looking ahead:
• March 9 – Student Online Advising & Registration (SOAR) and Becoming a Hawkeye reservation system opens in MyUI
• April 27 – Begin completing your SOAR page in MyUI
• June–July – Meet with your academic advisor and attend a Becoming a Hawkeye program
• August 10 – CSI:1600 Success at Iowa opens
• August 16–22 – Over 200 On Iowa! events to attend
• August 24 – First day of classes
