The U.N.'s 2030 Sustainable Development Goals at the focus of the new program are sweeping and ambitious. Approved in 2015, they range from ending hunger and poverty to making sanitation, education, population health services and clean energy more broadly available. The new Sustainable Development graduate program at The University of Iowa will begin enrolled students this fall to help students learn more about sustainability.

The University of Iowa will begin taking students for its Sustainable Development master's program in fall 2022.

Our students faced unexpected challenges in the building of the 2021 Corn Monument. They rose to the occasion and it turned out GREAT! Great job to the 2021 Corn Monument team! We're so proud of you.

Between Monday's and today's storms, our American Society of Civil Engineers student chapter did an outstanding job of restoring this year’s Corn Monument! It is wonderful to see our Homecoming tradition back on the Pentacrest!
