The Rich Fool in Luke 12 serves as a great example of how we ought to think of the God who gives us rest. "Soul,you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry!" Says the Rich Fool to himself. We say, "Soul, you have a Master who yoked himself with you by dying on the cross; you have an infinite amount of good laid up in Him; relax, eat, drink, live, work, serve, be merry."

Not sure if you remember last year's Geneva Lecture Series speaker who spoke on arts and life. This Thursday evening, the Geneva Lecturer is a financial executive and investor (see his brief bio in the flyer). He's a UI alum. He will speak about his thoughts on career. I encourage you guys to come! Especially those in business.

This event is arranged by our friend Dr. Ed Laarman and the Geneva Campus Ministry.
