Back in April, amazing volunteers helped us plant 2,000 bare-root trees using the Miyawaki method. At that time, they looked like 2,000 dead sticks poking up from the ground!

Fast forward to today, and those “sticks” are leafing out and transforming into a dense young forest. 🌱

By planting a diverse mix of native species close together, this method encourages trees to support one another and grow quickly.
Just imagine what this space will look like in 2 years. 💚
