ICS Project Expo is just two weeks away on June 4! Come learn about the innovative capstone projects created by dedicated, talented students like Alaa Malabeh, McKenna Rome Kelly, Alyssa K., Christy Seeching Lee, Eden Radulescu, and Parboni Chattopadhyay who are working with Dr. Kate Simon, PhD at the UC Irvine School of Medicine to gamify the Psychomotor Vigilance Test (PVT) to help children and teens sleep. The team will also compete at the 2026 Capstone Design Conference.

“Each year has been fantastic. The students in the major are exceptional, some of the most gifted I’ve met. And the women I’m working with right now are just outstanding. They have really exciting, interesting new ideas...The fact that their project was accepted at a national conference speaks directly to the exceptional quality, creativity, and skillset they demonstrated.”
