Brother Spotlight: Joey Padilla

1st Year

I originally joined SigEp to make friends but I’ve gotten so much more out of it. I’ve made many close relationships with people that I now consider brothers. I’ve also been taught how to balance school and my social life which was a necessity for my first year here. Along the way, I’ve got offered internships, jobs, and study tips during my short time with SPE and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter holds for this fraternity.

Brother Spotlight: Bedig Assadourian

Bio Sci Major
2nd Year

I joined SigEp to learn to be a balanced man. The brothers of SPE welcomed me into their family, and I instantly made genuine friendships with each of them. All of the people I have gotten to know, and who I now call my brothers, have helped me grow and mature as a person which I’m very thankful for.
Having gotten tons of advice and explored many options, I am planning on pursuing careers in the field of Biology in the future!

As a social fraternity on campus, the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon believe it is our duty as well to speak out against sexual assault and be a part of the change we want to see done in campus. With that we will be boycotting the Angels game that SFL has asked greek life to participate in. Please check out the link in our bio for resources on how to report an incident of sexual assault and be a part of the change as well.

Brother Spotlight: Julian Hidalgo

Political Science & Criminology, Law, and Society Double Major
3rd Year

I joined SigEp during fall quarter of my freshman year because I wanted to find a place where I could create long lasting memories and bonds, while also working to improve myself. Thankfully, that’s exactly what I found. This brotherhood is something that I wholeheartedly value because it has had such a positive impact on my life by helping me grow into a better person and a more balanced man. I plan on attending law school after graduation and I’m certain that my experience in SigEp will allow me to succeed in all my endeavors.
