Learning to care for a community begins by serving it. 🩺

Westcliff College of Nursing ELM students recently gained valuable hands-on experience while helping provide immunizations and physical assessments, with a special focus on pediatric patients.

Throughout the event, students participated in patient check-in, observed physician assessments and supported the immunization process. Each step gave them a closer look at how compassionate, coordinated care is delivered in a community setting.

Thank you to the San Bernardino School District for collaborating with us to create this meaningful learning opportunity and help support the health of local families.

Behind every student milestone is often someone who took the time to listen, answer the difficult questions and help make the next step feel possible.

For many of Westcliff’s international students, Derek Liew is that person.

As a supervisor in International Student Success Advising, Derek supports students through some of the most important moments in their academic and professional journeys. He also works closely with colleagues across the university, sharing knowledge, solving problems and making sure students receive the guidance they need.

That dedication recently earned Derek one of Westcliff’s highest employee honors: 2026 Staff of the Year, an award chosen by his colleagues.

Derek’s approach is captured in a belief he carries into every interaction: “You don’t grow solo. As you grow, other people grow with you.”

Westcliff University Canada student Kavin Mohan recently turned an ambitious idea into an award-winning cybersecurity solution.

Kavin and his team earned second place and a $2,500 prize at the Brampton SecOps Hackathon 2026 for TruckerTrust, a rotating, single-use pickup pass designed to help prevent fraudulent cargo pickups at logistics facilities.

Over three fast-paced days, the team developed a working prototype and presented it through a live demonstration. Kavin contributed much of the frontend user interface and Express backend, helping bring the solution from concept to reality.

His achievement reflects the technical skill, teamwork and practical problem-solving cultivated through Westcliff Canada’s Master of Information Systems and Technology program, and the caliber of students ready to tackle real-world technology challenges.

Congratulations to Kavin and his teammates on this outstanding accomplishment!

Westcliff student-athletes kicked off the fall season with an afternoon full of championship celebrations, team spirit, plenty of laughs and a lip-sync competition that brought out a very different kind of performance from our Warriors.

We celebrated the national champion surf and cheer teams, cheered on athletes from across every program and challenged the entire Westcliff community to carry that same energy into the stands all season long.

The games have begun, the goals are set and our Warriors are ready to make their presence known. Let’s make this a season to remember!

A new academic year begins with new goals, new connections and fresh momentum.

Westcliff Miami’s first Professional Weekend of the 2026–27 school year brought our Fall 1 students and faculty together for a meaningful weekend of learning, collaboration and community.

Professional Weekends give students the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom, connect face to face with professors and peers and build relationships that can support them throughout their academic and professional journeys.

Thank you to everyone who helped us begin the year on such a strong note. We are excited to see what our Miami students accomplish in the months ahead!

One campus. Five continents. A world of culture under one roof. 🌎

More than 200 guests came together at Westcliff University’s 5th Annual International Food and Culture Festival to share food, traditions, clothing and stories from around the world.

With students representing more than 130 countries, our diversity is one of the most meaningful parts of the Westcliff experience. This celebration gave our community the chance to bring a piece of home to campus, discover something new and grow closer through the cultures that make each of us unique.

Westcliff University has officially surpassed 10,000 students.

Each student brings a different story, a personal goal and a future they are working to create. Together, they form a growing community representing more than 130 countries across 12 locations, 16 athletic teams, and Orange County’s oldest law school.

This milestone belongs to our students and to the faculty, advisors and staff who support them every step of the way.

Creativity is now in the hands of even more young artists! 🎨✨

Our Westcliff community came together once again with OC United Way to assemble Art Studio Kits filled with colored pencils, mini easels and canvases, brush pens, paint sets, oil pastels, and more. The kits will be shared with children and families supported by Access California Services at their upcoming holiday event, giving young artists the tools to explore their creativity and bring their imaginations to life.

Seeing our students and staff come together for such a meaningful cause is truly at the heart of what Westcliff is all about. A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined us, shared a few laughs, and helped make a difference, one art kit at a time!

This past weekend, we opened the doors of our Miami campus and welcomed prospective students for a closer look at what their future at Westcliff University could hold.

Guests explored our industry-driven graduate programs in business, technology, engineering and education while learning more about the academic support, career preparation and community that define the Westcliff experience.

Located in the heart of Brickell, Miami’s Financial District, our campus places students near a thriving center of commerce, finance and innovation. From networking and internship opportunities to the energy of one of Miami’s most dynamic neighborhoods, Westcliff Miami offers an environment where students can learn, connect and prepare to lead.
