Celebrating Our 2026 EMC² Fellows Awardees

While commencement has come and gone, we wanted to take one more opportunity to recognize and celebrate a special group within the EMC² Class of 2026.

At our annual EMC² Graduation Celebration, we honored this year’s EMC² Fellows Awardees—students whose leadership, engagement, and commitment have strengthened the EMC² community and advanced our mission of fostering understanding and impact across emerging markets.

Congratulations to all of our award recipients! 🎓

Your contributions have helped strengthen our community, enrich the EMC² experience, and inspire your fellow students. We can’t wait to see where your journeys take you next.

✨ Once an EMC² Fellow, always an EMC² Fellow.

A landmark evening at the Cañizares Center for Emerging Markets (EMC²) 🌍

On April 30, we hosted Lord Jim O’Neill — the economist who coined “BRIC” 25 years ago — for a fireside chat on the past, present, and future of global economic growth.

From the rise of BRICS+ to the future of the dollar, global governance, and the next wave of emerging economies, the conversation was as timely as it was insightful.

Proud to call him our 2026 Cañizares Center for Emerging Markets (EMC²) Distinguished Fellow.
