Hello ADA family!

We hope your breaks are going great so far. This upcoming Saturday, April 7th, Columbia University will be having their 15th annual African Economic forum at Jerome Greene Hall (the law School) in NYC (http://aefcolumbia.com/index.html). As a sign of our general appreciation for all of you guys, ADA will be giving away one free, student ticket to attend the conference (after party ticket sold separately at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/african-economic-forum-2018-tickets-43212531846).

To snag a ticket, pm a short (300 word max) blurb about why you want to attend this conference to us @ African Development Association at Cornell University. Blurbs are due Thursday at 6pm. We will then decide who gets the ticket on the same day.

If you don't get a ticket, we still encourage you to attend! There will be great innovators and leaders on the panels who will be speaking on Saturday (Fashion stylist Ugo Mozie, Rih-Rih's fave model Duckie Thot, Cornell Law School's very own, Muna Ndulo and more). Even better, there will be an online resume dropbox for ticket holders to send in their resume to potential employers!

Anyway, enjoy your breaks (whether it be in Mexico, Florida, cold Ithaca or NYC). And we hope to see at least one of you on Saturday.

-Best
