EERI 2017 Competition Preliminary Judging
EERI Competition Day 2: After successfully unpacking our structure yesterday and repairing extremely minor damage (thanks to Uncle Marty's Shipping Office awesome packing job) our structure was examined for preliminary judging today. In this video, Scott Kaufman '18 and Shannon Spiers '17 run a 15" x 15" square down the building to ensure our building fits within the required dimensions. We are happy to report we received zero penalties and zero deductions! What a great start! Tomorrow, our team will be presenting our structure's design and inspirations along with the poster judging. It'll be an intense day, but we're super excited to show off our creation!
2016 Competition Cornell
Welcome back to another year at Cornell!
We are thrilled to start another season after our third place finish out of 33 teams in San Francisco, and we can't wait to add new members to our team! If you haven't seen it yet, check out the video of our structure, Garrett Tower, withstanding the strongest ground motion in competition.
We hope freshman are enjoying their first few days on campus and are excited to drop by the Engineering ProjectFest this Wednesday, August 24th, between 5:30 to 6:30 PM in Duffield Hall. Come check out our booth at ProjectFest and our website! Feel free to email us at [email protected] with any questions. We hope to see you there!
