American Association of Feline Practitioners: Cornell Vet Student Chapter Registered Student Organization of Cornell University

The Cornell Student Chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners (SCAAFP) is a student organization dedicated to promoting interest in feline medicine and surgery. Through lectures, wetlabs, field trips, and community service activities we hope to increase awareness of all feline-related issues.

We're excited to announce the Cornell student chapter of the American Association of Feline Practitioners will be hosting our annual Feline Follies event! This is a program during which we invite students and the greater Cornell and Ithaca community to our school to celebrate cats and Cornell on Saturday April 29th from 10am - 1:30pm in the vet school's lower atrium (Schurman Hall).

Some of the things guests can look forward to:
- An interactive lecture with Dr. Kornreich and some friendly feline volunteers
-Q&A with our panel of veterinary experts including Dr. Kornreich, Dr. Anderson, and Dr. DeTar
-An interactive 6th Annual Feline Follies Cat Show
-Adoptable cats brought by Stay Wild Rescue
-An opportunity for kids to be Dr. Me! and treat stuffed animal feline patients!
-A chance to win raffle prizes like a $200 Wegmans gift card, FIGS scrubs, gift baskets from Trader Joes, Chewy, Bond Vet, and more!
-Games, crafts, and other feline and family fun!

Today’s the day!!!😸 We’re so excited to see everyone! Please feel free to use our large parking lot (B Lot) when you arrive, but please enter through the Tower Road entrance! Our check-in table will be ready to greet you there!

For everybody’s safety, we will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 3 days. We also ask that everyone wear masks.

No, we're not KITTEN you! The Cornell Vet Feline Club is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 6th annual FELINE FOLLIES on SATURDAY, APRIL 9TH, 2022!

The event is open to the entire Ithaca community and will include a-MEOW-zing raffle drawings, adoptable cats, educational mini-lectures, cat photography, and so much more!
