Earlier this March, the House of Alpha Leadership Institute hosted a powerful and timely conversation: “Managing the Transition from Minor to Adult: How the Law Treats You Differently When You Turn 18.”

Students, families, and community members joined us — both in person and virtually — for an engaging discussion on what it truly means to step into adulthood from a legal and civic perspective. From understanding rights and responsibilities at 18 to navigating interactions with law enforcement and institutions, the program provided practical, real-world insights that matter now more than ever.
