Delta Phi Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity was conceptualized on April 8, 1968 and received its first charter on April 12, 1969 becoming the first member of the NPHC to receive a charter on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University. Founded on the principles of BROTHERHOOD, SCHOLARSHIP, and SERVICE, its members continue to promote and practice these principles throughout daily activities in the community and on the campus of MVSU.
