Stay a While, the show by Clay Palmer, is currently on view in the gallery. Mr. Palmer’s work examines contemporary Southern life through interior genre scenes. Here are the beautiful, quirky and fun pottery items on view in our gallery from the participants in our 2026 Union University Ceramics Camps in the Department of Art. These classes serve a variety of ages, featuring youth morning and afternoon sessions, adult evening classes, and hands-on clay techniques. They happen annually and require a fee and registration. “Dwelling: Memories in Seed Pods,” the BFA graduating show of sculpture student Annabella Wooten, is on view this week in the student gallery. Her gallery talk and reception is Tuesday, April 21st at 5pm, and is REQUIRED for art majors. Please come by and leave some words in the guest book for Annabella and view her beautifully detailed work. All of our gallery shows and events are free and open to the public.

Please join us in Harvey Auditorium tomorrow, April 9 at 4:30p.m., as we hear from Professor Christopher Nadaskay about his latest body of work. His show “Eyes to See” is on view from now until May 26 in the main gallery. Please join us in celebrating Prof. Nadaskay’s work and his impending retirement.

Sarah Johnson’s BFA graduating show “Unnatural Illustrations” is now on view in the student gallery. Join us tonight at 5pm, April 7, as we celebrate Sarah and hear more about her work. Her show will be up all week, so make sure to stop in and sign her book.
