🧪✨ What better way to spend an evening than with great food, great people, and an awesome Chemistry talk?!

Last Tuesday night at our KLACS meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from Max Loewinger and enjoying a wonderful evening of fellowship with students and faculty from UT Martin, Murray State, Lane College, and Union University!

We love opportunities to bring our chemistry community together, learn from one another, and of course share peach cobbler and ice cream along the way! 🧪🍽️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success! We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🎉

Our very own ._.robertson was recognized at awards day chapel with a research excellence award for her work investigating a mutation in colorectal cancer! Additionally this Spring she was selected by the ACS for an exclusive poster presentation at their annual meeting. Sci-Mix is an interdivisional poster session and mixer that is held in-person. The poster session consists of abstracts selected by division program chairs and represents the most exceptional submissions accepted by the participating divisions. Congratulations Izzy!!
