It's official! Dr. Donald Comer, Ph.D. has been formally installed as the 11th President of Lane College. The investiture capped a multi-day Presidential Investiture Celebration themed "A Moment in Time. A Legacy in Motion," honoring 144 years of faith, sacrifice, and perseverance at our institution.

In his address, Dr. Comer accepted a call to sacred stewardship, declaring this new chapter as "Eleven Mode”; a decision that Lane will not allow the accomplishments of yesterday to become the limitations of tomorrow. “Lane College was not preserved for nearly a century and a half simply so that we could survive. We have persevered to continue our becoming." said Dr. Comer, charging the entire Lane community to help carry the institution's legacy forward. "This is our moment in time. And together, we will keep the legacy in motion."

The prestigious celebration was attended by supporters nationwide including over twenty-two national college delegates and thirteen university Presidents. Congratulations, President Comer!
