Dr. Alhammouri and Dr. Weathers had a great afternoon working with students at Oxford Middle School as part of the After-School STEM sessions!

Students had the opportunity to work hands-on with Texas Instruments Rovers, learning how to program the Rovers and then putting their coding skills to the test. We loved seeing students problem-solve, collaborate, and learn through hands-on STEM experiences.

A big thank you to Oxford Middle School for welcoming us and to Texas Instruments for helping us bring engaging STEM learning opportunities to students! 💻🤖

SPE Students in Collaborative Mathematics, taught by Dr. Alhammouri, used the TI Rover and Python programming to recreate two-dimensional shapes, bringing mathematics, coding, and creativity together!

✨Building Content Knowledge Through Collaboration✨

Content Block started the semester with an exciting deep dive into science and math content knowledge! Our students participated in the Integrated ALCOS Standards Workshop, collaborating in groups to unpack standards and develop innovative cross-curricular lesson plans.
