Mackenzie Anderson is a rising 2L who attended the University of North Florida, where she majored in criminal justice and minored in psychology. Now at the College of Law, Mackenzie is actively involved in campus life—serving as Internal Vice President of JU’s Student Bar Association and Vice President of the Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association student chapter. She’s also a member of Law Review and the Moot Court Practice Team.

Mackenzie chose JU Law for the opportunity to be part of a new program in a vibrant city she wanted to explore more deeply. “I like law school because I meet a lot of different people with individualized walks of life that all want to learn and strive to succeed in life. Being at JU, I feel the teachers genuinely want you to succeed and learn and do better, and that is such a positive environment to be in that even when everything isn’t amazing, I am eager to do my best.”
