We 💚 connecting students with environmental professionals!

IERE recently hosted a Young Professionals Career Panel for our Environmental Science students, giving them the opportunity to hear firsthand about career paths, experiences, and opportunities in the environmental field.

We’re so grateful to our panelists for sharing their time and insights with our students and helping them see the many possibilities ahead! 🌳

Last month, we welcomed the newest students in the Environmental Leadership Program!🌳🌍

During our orientation, students were able to learn about IERE, the program, take professional headshots, and connect with their cohort.📗

We're excited for the year to come! Congrats to the 2026-27 UNF ELP scholars!🥳💚

🌿 Exciting things ahead! We're honored to help carry this work forward and grateful to be part of a community committed to helping youth connect with nature, health, and one another.

We're also thrilled that Project One Health JAX is serving as the Presenting Sponsor of the Florida Nature and Health Symposium at UNF on November 20! We hope to see you there!

💚 Thank you, Project One Health JAX!

We are honored and grateful for this investment in the UNF Nature and Health Center and the work we do to connect people with nature in ways that support health, well-being, and community resilience. Together, we're creating new opportunities for research, student engagement, and community partnerships that will help more people experience the benefits of nature for years to come.

Floating into the Fall Semester with our Florida Field School. Over 50 Environmental Science degree students enjoyed a "Paddle and Panel" within the Sawmill Slough.

From paddling on Lake Oneida with Eco Adventure, to a panel discussion surrounding environmental education, eco-tourism, and careers combining environmental science and recreation, students gained unique insights into our campus resources, and their future career opportunities. 🛶🐟🌳🥾
