Edward Waters University

10/22/2026

Dear Tiger Family,

We are writing to share an important update regarding Edward Waters University’s Homecoming Concert scheduled for October 24, 2026.

ASN Jay Boog will perform as scheduled. However, Belly Gang Kushington has withdrawn from his scheduled appearance and chosen to perform elsewhere, in breach of his contractual agreement with the University.

We understand this change is disappointing, particularly for those who purchased tickets anticipating the originally announced lineup, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

For those who have already purchased tickets, please check your email for more information.

Updated admission information:
* Non-EWU students: $20.
* EWU students with valid student ID are FREE.
* EWU students who successfully completed the HANDLE YOUR BUSINESS PROCESS have been UPGRADED TO VIP STATUS with FLOOR SEATING.

We hope you will still join us for an exciting evening as we celebrate Homecoming and our Tiger pride!

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Edward Waters University.

Homecoming is a celebration of everything that makes THE Edward Waters University special, and it is made even stronger when alumni and friends partner directly with the University.

Edward Waters University is proud to partner with Thee Primetime Foundation, led by alumnus Mr. Kamau Leitner 09', during Homecoming 2026.

Together with the University, Thee Primetime Foundation will host an on campus student care package giveback and an alumni honoree gala. All proceeds from the gala will be given to Edward Waters University, which seeks to award 25 micro scholarship grants to our students through a University inclusive selection process.

This partnership is a model of what true collaboration looks like: alumni and friends investing in the institution itself, working alongside the University rather than apart from it, so that every effort strengthens Edward Waters for generations to come.

We invite any and all partners who truly want to collaborate with the University and provide direct support to Edward Waters University and its academic community to join us as we celebrate Homecoming and support our venerable University! When we work together, Edward Waters wins.
Thank you, Mr. Leitner and Thee Primetime Foundation, for your love for Edward Waters and your commitment to our University.

Edward Waters University and Thee Primetime Foundation unite for Homecoming 2026 with a student giveback and gala supporting 25 micro scholarships.
