The Theta Sigma chapter at UNF was founded in 1987, and it has grown into one of the most active organizations on campus. Locally, Alpha Chi Omega's work with the Hubbard House, the biggest domestic violence shelter in the southeast. The chapter has grown to house over 100 women, with endless involvements in other organizations on and off campus. Every semester Alpha Chi Omega holds a philanthropi

c event in order to raise awareness and funds for the fight against domestic violence. This is a great opportunity to educate and involve other chapters around campus and the Jacksonville community. As a chapter, Alpha Chi Omega also participates in Dance Marathon at the University of North Florida in order to raise money for Children's Miracle Network. We love not only participating in our philanthropy events but love it when we can help out other causes as well. The Theta Sigma chapter holds three retreats annually as a way to strengthen our bond and have fun with one another while at the same time creating memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
