Congratulations to Kieran Powers on receiving the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program and taking the next step toward studying abroad and conducting research in Spain!🇪🇸

The Gilman Scholarship is a federally funded scholarship that supports outstanding undergraduate students with financial needs in pursuing study abroad opportunities. It is a highly competitive national program, with only 1 in 4 applicants selected. One key eligibility requirement is that students must be receiving a Pell Grant at the time of application.

This scholarship helps cover costs like tuition, travel, housing, and other study abroad expenses while building global experience, career skills, networking opportunities, and international connections.💛

Our Alternative Spring Break is officially underway 🌿

This week, our students are serving at Natchez Trace State Park in Tennessee — learning through hands-on service in one of the region’s most historic and scenic landscapes.

We’re proud to support this experience alongside our Director of Civic Engagement & Leadership Development, Lauren Dodge, as students invest their time, energy, and leadership in meaningful work.

In May, Kaydence will graduate with double majors in Business Administration and Organizational & Strategic Communication. Kaydence has made such an impact on campus through her many involvements through the past few years. We are so proud of her and can’t wait to see her succeed as she pursues a graduate degree in Global Supply Chain Management!

CCCI Career Fest 2026 was a great time! Susie and Jessamy took 5 IC students to the career fair in Naperville on Friday where over 100 employers were present. We are so proud of these students for putting themselves out there, networking with employers, and gaining professional experience.💙
