This past weekend, our KE chapter had the opportunity to partner with Positive Family Pivot to support families throughout our Jacksonville community! Our volunteers helped organize and distribute clothing, personal care items, and other essential necessities, helping ensure 65+ families received items and resources to support their everyday needs. We are so thankful for all of our KE volunteers who gave their time to make this impact possible and give back to our community! 🫶🏼

🧴 210 toiletry items collected and donated to Wolfson Children’s Hospital
💌 50 encouragement cards written for the National Breast Cancer Foundation to distribute to individuals battling breast cancer
🎗️ 200 cancer awareness & early detection resource kits provided to members of the Jacksonville community with the help of 8 amazing volunteers

📣 Volunteer Opportunity!
Kappa Epsilon is partnering with Positive Family Pivot for a Community Care Day to support children, families, and older adults in the Jacksonville community! 💙
📅 Saturday, October 10th
⏰ 12:00–2:00 PM
⭐ 2 approved community engagement hours
Volunteers will help sort and organize donations, distribute clothing and personal care items, assist participants in finding what they need, carry items to vehicles, and provide translation assistance when needed.
Come spend a couple of hours giving back and making a direct impact in our community! 🫶

💗 As part of KE Week of Service, our Kappa Epsilon members partnered with the Sister Hermana Foundation at the Riverside Arts Market this past Saturday to help spread awareness about cancer prevention and early detection! 🎗️ Together, we were able to provide 200 cancer awareness and early detection resource kits to members of our Jacksonville community. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to support such an important cause! 🫶🏼

KE Week of Service is September 27–October 3! 💗

This week, you can donate toiletries for Wolfson Children’s Hospital, write an encouragement card for a patient facing breast cancer, or join us for cancer outreach with SisterHermana Foundation.

Our outreach event is October 3 from 10 AM–12 PM at Riverside Arts Market. Swipe for the donation list, card details, and RSVP information. We hope you’ll join us in giving back to Jacksonville!
