On August 15, Gamecock supporters gathered at Life Insurance Company of Alabama in Gadsden for the K-Club Kickoff. Guests enjoyed an evening of football and fellowship with Coach Kelly, connected with fellow Gamecocks, and got an inside look at the season ahead. 🏈

The Jacksonville State University Board of Trustees recently approved several endowed scholarships and campus namings that will make a lasting impact on Jax State and our students!

Seven new endowed scholarships established:

• The Leah Grace Tarvin Memorial Endowed Scholarship
• The Dr. John J. and Ivania Ketterer Cultural Outreach Endowed International House Scholarship
• The Mark Spain “Against All Odds” Endowed Scholarship
• The Freida Wilson Benn Carll Early Childhood Development Endowed Scholarship
• The Ralph A. Burke Memorial Endowed Scholarship
• The Rita Fuller Endowed Scholarship
• The William “Bill” Rayne Jones and Victoria “Vicky” Wagner Jones International House Endowed Scholarship

Three new campus spaces named:

• The Dr. Mark Hearn Business Communication Classroom
• The Dr. Barry and Mrs. Amanda Howard Stained-Glass Window
• The Dr. Margaret Pope Bench

Made possible through the generosity of donors, families, alumni, and friends, these scholarships and namings honor meaningful legacies while creating opportunities and enriching the Jax State experience for generations of Gamecocks to come. 🐔
