UNF Center for Professional Development and Training The Center for Professional Development and Training is located on the campus of University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida.

CPDT was established July, 2003 to align professional development and training initiatives with institutional goals through collaborative efforts with other departments. The center offers a wide range of professional, managerial and computer courses for staff and faculty using instructor-led and web-based training interventions. For a list of instructor-led and University-specific online courses, click on the course catalog on the left-hand menu. The following is the latest announcement from the UNF Crisis Management Team:

UNF Alert: Hurricane Dorian is now expected to be a Category 3 storm off the coast of Jacksonville on Wednesday, September 4. Therefore, UNF is canceling all classes, student activities and offices through Wednesday. We also encourage all residential students to begin leaving campus, if they have a safe place to travel to and stay. For those students who remain on campus, residential housing will remain open and the Osprey Café will continue to operate on normal schedule until further notice. If conditions worsen, we will ensure that all remaining students are taken care of and moved to a safe location on campus. UNF’s Crisis Management Team will continue to monitor the situation very closely, and plans to send its next update tomorrow morning.

This is a very powerful storm, so please, take the warnings seriously and find a safe place to stay. Stay safe Ospreys and take care!
