Enrollment in physics is really down this fall 2020. It's not clear what NY state government will do in spring. For the foreseeable future it's online classes.

Applicants having skills with online homework systems able to integrate graded textbook reading assignments coupled with graded exercises aimed at confirming an understanding of the reading material all synchronized to be completed before lecture will be a big plus.

It's great that people are looking at this page....but it's important to contact the physics curriculum coordinator if you want to get a job. :-) ....we have lots of great demos and a great text book for physics 140. If you like working with your hands and demonstrating real physics and teaching young people how to understand the demonstrations...this is the job for you!

York is looking for young-minded people to teach physics 140 - Physics for non-scientists. This course uses lots of demos. If you love to do physics demonstrations while presenting physics principles to the broad academic community....this is your opportunity! Contact Dr. James Popp for details. There will be opportunities open each semester....but you have to apply now.
If you are interested in teaching in the fall semester, then you should interview in the spring semester.
