You can help shape the future of JCC Hockey! Today marks the launch of our inaugural Build The Nest online fundraising campaign, focused on benefiting the immediate growth of our program. Consider donating to help our program grow!

The original goal of JCC Hockey was to build a sustainable team for our local community to rally behind and provide more players the opportunity to play collegiate hockey. As we grow, so will our expenses, which is why we work to remove financial barriers for our players. But we can’t do it alone. We rely on the support of our generous community to help us achieve our mission.

There are three different ways to donate:
1. Click the link to visit our donation page. Link is also in the comments. https://secure.qgiv.com/for/jayhawkshockey/
2. Venmo
3. Text “jcchockey” to 50155

Any donation will automatically enter you into a custom jersey giveaway, you’ll be recognized in our digital program, and you can earn team merch credit! Spread the word, give generously, and help shape the future of our program. Thank you!

From slate blackboards in a six-classroom former elementary school in Olean to teaching many of today's students online, Dale Yerpe has seen a lot of change in his 50 years at the Cattaraugus County Campus.

So, too, has Sarah Bray, who joined the college in 2013.

Both have witnessed the evolution of classrooms, students, and ways of teaching.

What they haven't seen change is the tight-knit, caring, and supportive atmosphere that is led by the campus' faculty and staff.

Check the link 🔗 in the comments to read Dale and Sarah’s stories as we celebrate 50 years of in Olean.

Sixty years later, the memories still bring them back together.

Five members of our Nursing Class of 1966 returned to the Jamestown Campus this past weekend to celebrate the 60th anniversary of their graduation!

Bonnie Allenson Biondolillo, Elaine Swanson Crossley, Wendy Eimers, Pennie Penhollow Harvey, and Sue Johnson toured today’s Nursing classrooms and labs, reconnected over lunch, and shared memories of their time as students and the careers that followed.

Here’s to lifelong friendships, lasting memories, and 60 years of Nursing pride! 💚💛

Because Della Moore and her classmates spoke up in 1976, thousands of students have had the chance to start their college journeys in Olean and Cattaraugus County.

Among them is Ginna Hensel, the first Cattaraugus County Campus student to serve as a student trustee on the college’s Board of Trustees. Hensel graduated in 2021 and now works on campus, helping support the next generation of students.

Follow the link 🔗 in the comments to read how Moore fought to keep a community college in Olean 50 years ago and how her efforts helped create opportunities for future students like Hensel.

Great to see so many familiar faces back together!

More than 70 retirees recently gathered at the Roger Tory Peterson Institute on the Jamestown Campus for a happy hour filled with reconnecting, sharing memories, and celebrating their continued connection to the college.

The event also raised $1,100 for student scholarships. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

This weekend marks 50 years since we first opened our doors to students in Olean on Aug. 30, 1976.

To celebrate five decades of growth, memories and community impact, we’re launching the first part of a weeks-long series looking back at the history of the Cattaraugus County Campus.

From a former elementary school with 27 holes in the roof and a failing heating system to the vibrant downtown campus we know today, the story of in Olean is one of resilience, growth, and plenty of opportunity.

Read Part 1 of our 50th anniversary series (linked in comments) and follow along in the coming weeks as we celebrate the people, places and moments that have shaped our Cattaraugus County Campus.
