History in the making!

This week marks the first-ever Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) SOAR Program hosted at Lincoln University, bringing together 87 scholars from across the United States and one scholar from the Caribbean for a week of leadership development, college readiness, career exploration and personal growth.

Today, scholars visited the 🛣️ Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) St. Louis District to learn about transportation careers and roadway safety. Students toured the Transportation Management Center, participated in distracted- and impaired-driving simulations, experienced hands-on safety demonstrations and connected with MoDOT professionals to learn how they serve communities across Missouri.

Thank you to the MoDOT St. Louis District team and Lincoln University alumna Dr. Andria Hendricks for helping provide this memorable experience and inspiring the next generation of leaders.
