🎉 Congratulations to ACSS Board Member Dr. Kay Gandy! 🎉

ACSS is proud to celebrate that Dr. Kay Gandy, has been awarded a prestigious Fulbright U.S. Scholar Award in Education for the 2026–2027 academic year. As part of this honor, Dr. Gandy will teach at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education in Vietnam, working with pre-service teachers and local educators to exchange successful teaching practices. She will also be teaching a course on Myths and Realities of the American West.

This marks Dr. Gandy’s fourth Fulbright grant, reflecting a distinguished career dedicated to global education, cultural exchange, and excellence in teaching. Through the Fulbright Program, she will continue fostering international collaboration while representing the best of social studies education.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Gandy on this remarkable accomplishment and wishing her success in Vietnam! 🌎📚✈️
