The Pitt-Johnstown Business and Enterprise Division provides a solid foundation in the principles of accounting, economics, finance, information systems, management, and marketing, while emphasizing proficiency in business technologies and financial literacy. Business and Enterprise at Pitt-Johnstown offers an intimate, small-classroom environment where students benefit from the faculty’s expertis

e and commitment to teaching excellence, as well as from RealWorld faculty-student mentorships, collaborations, and projects. The division is also committed to nurturing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Student entrepreneurs work in the inspiring Cook Family Idea Lab and receive training and assistance in developing business plans. Students have opportunities to compete in regional “Shark Tank”-style competitions and pitch ideas to win prize money and investments for their products or ventures.

Just some of the photos from tonight's pitches and check presentation! Congratulations to Brake Safe, Sports Dek, and Herbalettes on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places respectively! Brake Safe brought home $1,000 for their efforts with the other two teams bringing in $500 each. Thank you to all of our participants and especially our fantastic sharks!
