The Technical Theatre I class (THEA104) spent time building and painting scenic flats and cubes. Many of them had never used a power tool before this class- but each student participated in building these pieces, which will be used onstage in our upcoming play, Love and Information.

Technical Theatre II students (THEA 105) created props for our recent production of The Outsiders.

Our technical theatre classes frequently design and build projects which are then used onstage in our productions. Technical Theatre classes are offered each semester. Find out more at www.jjc.edu/fine-arts.

Artists Gary Schirmer and Steve Hudson mingled with guests, sharing the inspiration and meaning behind their works and offering visitors a deeper look into their artistic perspectives. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with the artists and experience the stories behind the art!
