Our Story

Joliet Junior College Greenhouse is a state of the art greenhouse where horticulture students at Joliet Junior College learn greenhouse production, plant propagation and hydroponics. The greenhouse serves as a support facility for both agriculture and horticulture programs at Joliet Junior College.

The JJC greenhouse hosts many sales through out the year- the largest being the spring sale. The spring sale features annuals, perennials, and vegetables. The spring sale genereally starts in late April of every year. In addition to the spring sale, there is a fall mum sale for the horticulture club fundraiser, a winter holiday sale featuring pointsettias grown by students and a very early spring sale of pansies, dianthus and flowering bulbs.
