NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State We provide a continuum of educational experiences to NYITCOM students, extending through the clinical and post-graduate years of training.

New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) is committed to training osteopathic physicians for a lifetime of learning and practice, based upon the integration of evidence-based knowledge, critical thinking, and the tenets of osteopathic principles and practice. We are also committed to preparing osteopathic physicians for careers in health care, including that in th

e inner city and rural communities, as well as to the scholarly pursuit of new knowledge concerning health and disease. This continuum provides the future osteopathic physician with the foundation necessary to maintain competence and compassion, as well as the ability to better serve society through research, teaching, and leadership.

We see nothing but opportunity ahead, specifically for community hospitals that need to grow their physician workforce, but it’s not something achievable by one entity."

A decade of shaping future physicians 🩺💙

Last week we celebrated our 1️⃣0️⃣ year anniversary at a special event that featured many of the people and groups that made our medical school a reality! For the past decade, NYITCOM at A-State has been dedicated to educating compassionate healthcare professionals, serving rural & underserved communities across the Mississippi Delta, and making a difference in health policy. Last Thursday was a wonderful time to look back on the past decade and ahead at the future to come!

Thank you so much to NYITCOM at A-State Founding Dean, Dr. Barbara Ross-Lee, for traveling to be our keynote speaker at our event and graduation. 💙
