The MOSO CAPS program is excited to be featured on the next episode of Newsmakers, highlighting our incredible partnership with the Freedom of Flight Museum — and the unforgettable hands‑on journey our students experienced while building an actual airplane.
Four of our MOSO CAPS students stepped into real‑world roles as the management and construction team for a BD‑17 Nugget aircraft this past spring. From creating task lists to managing part inventory to solving engineering challenges without a builder's manual, they gained the kind of experience that shapes futures. With mentorship from Darryl Coit and Tom Christensen, this project showcases exactly what profession‑based learning can do.
