9/11 We Remember: A Reflection 25 Years Later
On Friday, September 11, Copper Mountain College invites students, faculty, and staff to come together as we commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. 🕊️ The morning will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the 100 Quad Flagpole with a flag-raising ceremony, including the lowering of the flag to half-staff, a moment of silence, and remarks from the CMC Leadership Team. 🎬 At 8:30 a.m. in the Student Activity Center (300 Quad), we will screen In Their Own Words: Commemorating the 25th Anniversary from the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, followed by a guided community reflection. Through personal stories of courage, perseverance, service, and purpose, we’ll reflect on the lasting impact of 9/11 and the values that continue to bring communities together. 💙 All CMC students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join us for this meaningful morning of remembrance and reflection.
