The Healing Arts speaker series is having Arthur Kleinman come speak. The event will be held April 2nd at 7 p.m. in Shaw Theatre, located at the Gilmore Theatre complex at WMU.

Unfortunately the first of the Spring 2015 semester Healing Arts speaker series event is postponed. Nellie Hermann has fallen ill and is unable to make it tomorrow.

Right now we're working on rescheduling and we'll post the news on when this event will be happening when we know more.

The first Healing Arts speaker series of the Spring 2015 semester proudly presents Nellie Hermann! The event will be held January 29th at 7 p.m. in the Dalton Center Recital Hall!

Our next speaker in our Healing Arts speaker series is Michael Pollan! Pollan will be at Miller Auditorium this Thursday, Nov. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Pollan is an American author, journalist, and activist who has a passion for great food and nutrition. His topic will be "A Community Conversation About Food."

This event is free & open to the public. Tickets are not required, however, the Kalamazoo Community Foundation asks that you please register for the event via http://www.kalfound.org/

In honor of our visit from Yann Martel (author of Life of Pi), Alamo Drafthouse Kalamazoo will have a FREE showing of the movie Life of Pi in 3D tomorrow, Tuesday Oct. 21, at 7 p.m.
