As some of you might have heard, the Dalton Center Recital Hall had some flooding yesterday. There was a faulty sprinkler head which caused the sprinklers to go off without a fire present. Everyone is safe! The hall is on its way to being restored back to working condition due to the great work of WMU Facilities Management and Custodial Services.
We would like to thank the first responders, Facilities Management Director Anand Sankey, Custodial Services Associate Director Brandy Moran, and all of those involved in removing the water overnight! The Recital Hall Hall is much more than a performance space to us. We are extremely thankful for the quick, thorough action taken to repair the hall.
