Please keep one of our Ambassador graduates, Farrell Clark, in your prayers. This is a post by his wife a few minutes ago:
The tragic medical journey continues for Farrell and our family.
Farrell has been experiencing far more pain than expected just one week after surgery, and today he began running a fever. After contacting his surgeon’s office, he was advised to go to the emergency room for imaging and bloodwork.
Unfortunately, the tests revealed a postop incisional hernia, with part of his small intestine pushing through the abdominal wall. What makes this even more concerning is that his small intestine is where his original bowel resection was performed just last week.
He is now waiting to find out whether he will need emergency surgery tonight to repair the hernia, with the possibility of another bowel resection.
This has been an incredibly difficult and emotional time for our family. We never expected him to be facing another possible surgery so soon after the first.
Please continue to keep Farrell and our family in your prayers. I am home with our kiddos, doing my best to keep everything running while supporting and loving him through all of this. Being unable to be by his side right now makes an already difficult situation even harder.
We are praying for good news, a successful recovery, and for this chapter of medical complications to finally come to an end. Thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked on us, and continued to pray. Your love and support mean more than you know. ❤️
