This morning, members of the Jennie N. Moore Chapter No. 50 met for their monthly May meeting and gathered their mid-year collection of pop tabs for a special donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities!

Those small pop tabs might seem insignificant, but they make a meaningful impact. Pop tabs are collected because they’re made of high-quality aluminum, which is easy to recycle and retains value. When large quantities are gathered, they can be turned in for cash through recycling programs.

The funds raised from recycling these tabs help support Ronald McDonald House Charities in providing a “home away from home” for families with children receiving medical care. This includes helping cover lodging, meals, and other essential resources so families can stay close to their child during treatment.

It’s a simple act—saving something as small as a tab—that adds up to real support, comfort, and care for families who need it most.
