The nonprofit was used by Mayor Quinton Lucas’ predecessor primarily to bring speakers to Kansas City to talk about economic development. Lucas and his former chief of staff use it for Chiefs tickets, hotel stays, flights and dinners.

The Division of Diversity and Inclusion would like to invite you to the 2024 Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture. On January 23rd at 6 pm, Kevin Willmott, Academy Award Winner Filmmaker and Professor at KU, will deliver a lecture titled Becoming Martin. He will discuss MLK’s transformation form an unfocused student to a globally celebrated civil rights activist. Please sign up for the event.
