Latino Medical Student Association - University of Kansas SOM This is the official page of the Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA) at University of Kansas School of Medicine.

The Latino Medical Student Association at the University of Kansas School of Medicine is dedicated to serving the Kansas City community through its activities. Consisting of a diverse array of medical students and other health professionals at KU Medical Center, LMSA seeks to find better ways to care for Kansas City's growing Hispanic population, as well as other medically and socially underserved

populations. LMSA is also committed to increase enrollment and success of medical students from diverse backgrounds. Members of LMSA are highly involved in a variety of community service activities and health fairs. Many have an interest in learning Spanish and gaining valuable experiences within the Latino community. Membership is open to all students at University of Kansas School of Medicine.
