Last Day to Register!
Be a KC BizFest Mentor!

Sign Up - https://www.cognitoforms.com/JSanders1/KCBizFestMentorSignup

The deadline to sign up is February 3rd at 11:59 pm.

KC BizFest offers high school juniors and seniors in the Greater Kansas City area an opportunity to learn a variety of life skills and business techniques. During a four-day intensive training seminar, KC BizFest focuses on helping students turn hobbies and skills into profit-making ventures, establish entrepreneurial and leadership goals, create plans for business and life, and become effective leaders and team players. BizFest culminates in a scholarship competition whereby participants present their business plans to judges for the opportunity to win scholarships.

Mentors play an important role in this process. Imagine learning how to write a business plan, researching pertinent information, putting your ideas into a presentation, and then presenting – in just four days! During the process, there are designated times when participants can interact with mentors to receive encouragement, advice, and practice opportunities.

Please sign up to be a mentor.

The 2021 BizFest event will be held virtually in Zoom Wednesday, February 10 – Saturday, February 13. Mentors sign up for times available to volunteer on select dates. *Friday, February 12 is the most crucial day to provide mentoring for the success of our participating students.

If you are interested in mentoring, it is critical that you sign up by Sunday, January 31 at 11:59 pm deadline, so you can receive the Zoom meeting number and access password.

There will be a virtual New Mentor Orientation on Friday, February 5 with available AM or PM sessions. If you are a new mentor, selection options are available in the sign-up link below.
