Summer spotlight! ☀️

Senior Information Systems student Michael Padtha spent his summer interning at Yamaha Motor Corporation, building Power BI dashboards and sharpening his skills in business intelligence and analytics. And when he's not working, he's been preparing to launch a new student organization focused on hands-on technical skill building this fall.

We love seeing students like Michael who create their own opportunities. Best of luck heading into your senior year! 🙌

KSU's Mookerji Innovation Fund has officially invested in its 50th startup — deploying nearly $700,000 to support student and alumni entrepreneurs since 2021. The results speak for themselves: portfolio companies have collectively attracted more than $5 million in follow-on funding, with others drawing acquisition interest from industry leaders.

The 50th investment goes to Esoteric Sync, an AI-powered clinical documentation platform for skilled nursing facilities founded by KSU Integrated Health Science student Keomaria Camon.

Managed by the Robin and Doug Shore Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center, the Mookerji Innovation Fund doesn't just write checks; it provides mentorship, business coaching, and connections to investors and founders that help student entrepreneurs build companies ready to compete in the marketplace.

Here's to the next 50 ventures, and all the big ideas that will launch in the years to come! 🙌
