Thanks to everyone who supported this summer's Khawaja Saeed Golf Tournament. Your participation allowed the Coles College to make a $4,000 contribution to KSU Care Services, which helps students struggling with food and housing insecurity. Khawaja Saeed, Coles College Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programs, presented the donation to Marcy Stidum Associate Vice President of Student Affairs.

We also want to shout out the KSU Fintech Programs for hosting the golf tournament and partnering with Care Services.

Some exciting careers definitely got their start at last week's Sales and Marketing Career Fair. More than 200 business students met with representatives from 42 companies, all eager to add Coles College students to their teams.

The professionalism on display was amazing. Each student was dressed to the nines, had their resumes in hand, and was prepared to sell their personal brands.

Thank you to the Center for Professional Selling for organizing this outstanding opportunity for Coles College students!

It doesn't matter if your business is just an idea or a thriving startup. You're invited to enter Scrappy's Pitch Competition to pitch your idea to a panel of judges for a chance to win one of multiple $1,000 prizes.

While the competition isn't until November, the Coles College is hosting workshops on Oct 19th (Marietta Campus) and 20th (Kennesaw Campus) where you can learn about the competition and how to craft your pitch to wow the judges.

A member of our Coles College family is this week being named a Woman of Influence by Atlanta Business Chronicle!

Carmen Chubb is an alumna of the KSU Executive MBA Program at Coles College of Business and has quite the spectacular career. She spent two decades helping bring affordable housing opportunities before serving as Chief of Staff in the Atlanta Mayor's Office. Today, she's President of Columbia Residential.

This is how you launch a new graduate program!

KSU's Master of Science in Information Systems became the Master of Science in Technology Management and Leadership this fall, reflecting a changing job market that needs leaders who can leverage AI and other innovative technologies to make informed business decisions.

To mark the occasion, we hosted a panel event of experts from inside and outside KSU exploring how AI is changing the modern workplace. The event was a great opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and industry partners to discuss the future of AI while learning how the new MSTML degree is there to prepare professionals for that future.

The most delicious day of the semester is here! It's time for Beignets with the Dean.

Dean Robin Cheramie will be personally serving beignets Wednesday, Sept. 30th at 2:30 pm in the Burruss Building Atrium. Why beignets? Look up the origin of the last name "Cheramie," and all will be revealed!

Only the first 150 visitors will get their no-cost beignet, so don't delay!
