Kyle P. Corrigan, M.S., CIFI ā08 is the recipient of the 2026 Alumni Achievement Award. He is the founder and Chief Investigator of Bright Line Investigations LLC where he leads investigations involving criminal defense, civil litigation, insurance fraud, surveillance, witness and evidence development, public records, digital evidence, and intelligence gathering throughout the Midwest.
Kyle graduated from the University of WisconsināParkside in 2008 with a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. He later earned a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of WisconsināPlatteville in 2022.
The name Bright Line Investigations traces directly back to Kyleās time at UWāParkside. While sitting in a Molinaro lecture hall during a criminal procedure class, the discussion turned to the legal concept of the bright-line ruleāa clearly defined legal standard that provides objective criteria for decision-making, reduces ambiguity, and promotes predictable outcomes. The concept stayed with him and eventually inspired both the companyās name and its guiding philosophy: bringing clarity to uncertainty, separating fact from assumption, and helping clients understand what the evidence can actually establish.
