As we move into Labor Day weekend, Gallup has released a new report on people's beliefs about unions.

One finding is that we have reached a point where 71% of people approve of labor unions (data trend pictured).

What I can help with: I advise students on degree requirements/graduation planning, internship/career options, and goal setting. I can also help students address any issues that might arise while they’re at KSU and get them connected to other campus resources.



A few other things to keep in mind as we start the semester:



Sociology and Criminology & Justice Studies Internship Fair: Thursday, September 24th from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in Merrill Hall. More information coming soon.



Late Add Requests: Just a reminder that students have until the last day of the first week of class (8/30) to self-add into full term classes. During the second week of class, they will need to submit a late add request in Flashline that should be routed to the professor for approval. Students can find instructions for submitting late add requests here. After the second week, a Petition for Exception to Registration and professor approval would be required for a student to add a course. These deadlines are earlier for courses that are not full term.
